Welcome to another absolutely banging recipe. This isn’t an authentic Vietnamese caramel pork recipe at all, but let’s say that it’s heavily inspired by it!

It’s not so sticky, but the sauce was still coating the beautiful pieces of pork… Yum!

Ingredients


-Pork tenderloin (about 800g for this recipe)

-500g of potatoes (I used New Potatoes here)

-Soy Sauce (about 1 cup)

-3 shallots and 2 cloves of garlic

-Fish sauce (2 tbsp)

-Cane sugar (between 3 and 5 tbsp)

-Water (about a cup)

-Chili flakes (optional depending on whether you can handle spice! I used 1 tsp as my family is quite sensitive to it!)

-Salt and Pepper to taste
